How to see your house from a satellite, free

Open VNTG, type your address or coordinates, and it serves the sharpest freely available image of that spot — in much of Europe a national aerial survey at 5–20 cm per pixel, several times sharper than Google Maps. No signup, and you can download the image or step back through past years.
Step by step
- Open the map. Go to vntg-point.com. It opens on a map with a search box.
- Find your address. Type a place name, paste coordinates (decimal or DMS), or paste a Google/OSM maps link. You can also click the map or drag the reticle.
- Let it pick the sharpest source. "Auto" checks ~35 free sources and serves whichever genuinely has the sharpest imagery covering that exact point.
- Check the date. The panel shows the capture date where the source publishes one, plus the latest Sentinel-2 pass for that spot.
- Look back in time. Open "Historical" to step through every Esri release since 2014 and see how the property changed.
- Download it. Export a georeferenced GeoTIFF, or a PNG with a world file, for use in other software.
Resolution depends on where you are. The Netherlands publishes ~8 cm imagery of the whole country; Luxembourg and Switzerland ~10 cm; ten German states ~20 cm. Outside those programmes you'll typically get ~30 cm from Esri, which is still the sharpest free option in most of the world.
